This policy explains what information PlainBasketHouse does and does not handle. The site is a static reference and is kept deliberately simple.

Cookies and local storage

PlainBasketHouse does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The cookie notice on the home page records only your Accept or Reject choice in your browser’s local storage, so the notice is not shown again. This value stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

The contact form

The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the page simulates sending and shows a confirmation message. No form data is transmitted to a server by this site, and no message is stored or delivered through this page. If you wish to reach us, use the email address shown in the contact section.

External links and images

Pages link to third-party references such as government and museum sites, and load photographs hosted on Wikimedia Commons. When your browser requests those resources, the relevant third parties may receive standard request information such as your IP address. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies, not this one.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting environment may keep standard technical logs (for example, request times and error records) for security and maintenance. These are general server functions and are not used to build profiles of visitors.
